Timber garages are the ideal storage solution for cars, motorbike and boats. They are a good alternative to concrete garages as they have the advantage of being a warm, dry atmosphere and in most cases do not require planning permission.
This Garage was built for a customer who needed storage for vehicle, equipment and also fitted dog kennels at one end.
 Wall Construction

Walls are built with 100mm x 50mm (4 x 2) 2ft centres (600mm)
 Wall Cladding

Walls are clad with a choice of cladding from 15mm redwood shiplap to 25mm Loglap
 Roof Construction

Roofs are constructed with 16mm tanalised tongue and groove match boards, nailed to 100mm x 50mm purlins attached to pre fabricated roof trusses’ a choice of roof coverings are available from bitumen onduline roof sheets to felt shingles. . .


 Doors

Single 30” wide personal door and double 7ft joinery made braced and ledged doors can be fitted. All come with heavy duty hook and band hinges bolts and cabin hooks.
 Height to Eaves

Standard height to the eaves is 7ft 2”; this does vary depending on the width of garage
 Floors

16mm tongue and groove boarding can be fitted as an optional extra placed on pressure treated impregnated 75mm x 50mm bearers at 2ft centres
 Timber Treatment

All timber is pressure treated tanalised timber. . .

All timber garages will require 6" compacted hardcore, damp proof course, 4" concrete slab and one course of semi-engineering bricks (with holes), and designed to be strong and long lasting.
